It is mainly used in splitting cracked stone and arch stone which by utilizing a wedge set can be separated into smaller or standard stone blocks. Wedge can also trim relative large and irregular stone blocks. Drill a hole every 10-20cm of the length. Place shim and wedge set for each hole and start hitting the wedges in little by little until stone splits in half.
